I do, but I sure wish the Paralegal Fairy would visit when I'm away from the office. It took me four hours this morning to answer emails and return calls, and that was just from being out of the office on Friday. Then we had a two-hour team meeting, and then I had two hours left to do a week's worth of work. I need a candy bar.
I am dead tired, but not too tired to be excited about my Adventure, which starts now, with Megan of Megan Mae Daily. If Practical Paralegalism is quiet the rest of the week, don't worry. There will be way too many pictures posted upon my return. (Or if you miss me, you can follow my random Twitter feed, @ExpertParalegal.)
Today I'm wearing my most fave thrifted dress evah (until my next most fave thrifted dress evah). I've always considered myself kind of knowledgeable about Target fashions for many years, since the Merona and Mossimo brands are well within a legal support staffer's teeny clothing budget, but I do not recall ever seeing this Merona dress, so have no idea what year it's from. (I probably didn't notice it during the three decades a dress had to be black for me to even consider dumping it in a grocery cart.)
| Look, I put my feet on backwards this morning! Merona dress (thrifted); Coral skinny belt (Target this year and worn practically every day); Breva ice blue pumps (John Fluevog and worn practically every day, but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it); MMD button flower (Megan Mae Daily); Bracelets (assorted); Earrings (Steinmart I think) |
| Put a cropped sweater from Forever 21 on it. |
Great dress!!! Love the belt with the buttonflower too - you find so many fun ways to wear her flowers! Love it! Enjoy your adventure, I'm jealous, wish I could go!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely dress - the colour is great on you! So glad you're loving the 'Vogs - go for another pair!
ReplyDeleteI totally don't remember that dress but it is spectacular! I also love your shoes and understand how they could be complimented so frequently.
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, I totally relate to your dilemma of leaving the office for a day (or GASP two). Really? You can't handle stuff like this while I'm away? Oh well, it's job security I guess. If you ever do run into the paralegal fairy, do send her my way though.
OMG I LOVE THIS. Yes, all caps love. It's so colorful and amazing. I think you'd get a ton of wear out of a taupe pair. They're very versatile shoes. Also omg I love the buttonflower with this. You're totally going to have to go through my big box when you're here and find some more.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to meet you! See you tomorrow!
I don't remember that dress either! And I'm pretty much a Target expert. lol It looks beautiful on you!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember this Target dress--but it is very feminine and a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome compliment on your shoes. I love when people get really specific like that!
ReplyDeleteGreat dress, pretty shoes.

I can't say I remember this dress, but I saw it at a thrift store about 3 months ago and I'm kicking myself for not getting it. It was a little big and I just didn't feel like altering it.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous in it. It goes great with your hair and complexion.
Nice pose on the first photo. Your color coordination is refreshing.
ReplyDeletewow..you look gorgeous, I like the whole color combo, the dress is so lovely...I can't remember the last time I thrifted a dress as fabulous as yours! Looks pretty with the target belt, the floral pin is so cute. Yes I love your robin egg shoes too. One of my favorite outfits of yours!

ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaah I'm so happy you have discovered wonderful work attire with plenty of colour - you look so happy in that beautiful outfit!! You deserve all those lovely compliments, you look fabulous from head-to-toe:)). xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat dress is a fabulous color, and it's better than you found it second hand because you probably only had to pay a tiny fraction of the original price, and it looks like it's in perfection condition!
