I hate people that are all chirpy on Monday morning, especially after a delightful long holiday weekend filled with turkey leftovers, long naps, and no one asking where those past due answers to interrogatories are.
Raise your hand if you looked a little like this getting to your desk this morning:
Happy Monday! (Anyhoo.)
If you're up to it, let's start an Open Thread in the comments to this post. What was the most awesome-est dish you consumed for Thanksgiving? Mine's a tie between my Double Chocolate Bundt Cake and my husband's fabo cornbread stuffing with apples and grapes.

Yes indeedie Lynne, that video is lookin' a lot like I feel about the weekend being over! :D
We ate well, but I think the awesome-est dish for me may have been my nephew's Sweet Potato Bisque topped with a little swirl of sour cream - yum :) (Your hubby's stuffing sounds delicious too!)
My mom made homemade buttermilk pie from scratch. SO good!
Sweet Potato cake, hands down! My mother-in-law makes the best one. I consumed an entire cake by myself last year but I did not let glutton get the best of me and I only had two slices this year.
Hmm... Let's see... I think the most awesome-est dish was the Pumpkin Cheesecake I made from scratch (including the crust!).
I have never been a fan of pumpkin pie, but this cheesecake was heavenly! Even Mr. H liked it and he's not much of a sweets eater. Two thumbs up!
I took an extra day of PTO to avoid the sting of this Monday. Co-workers will have their mental revenge tomorrow when I am still in polar bear mode.
As is tradition at my house, the awesome-est dish is my friend Beverly's goose-liver pate. She won't tell us what's in it but some of the ingrediants have got to be illegal, it's that delicious!
Wow, this stuff sounds delicious:
Sweet Potato Bisque
Homemade Buttermilk Pie
Sweet Potato Cake
Pumpkin Cheesecake from scratch!
Goose Liver Pate
My gosh, paralegals live right! :)
Stuffing balls and the amazingly awesome rolls his step mom made! They were HUGE!
