Oklahoma legal assistant Jolene Chesnut has been reported missing for the past week, but in her absence has been charged with two counts of embezzlement, for allegedly stealing more than $80,000.00 from an estate account she was administering during the course of her employment by Durant attorney Mark Morrison.
Mr. Morrison is also reporting significant monies missing from his firm trust account, and has filed a civil suit against Ms. Chesnut. She was scheduled to turn herself into the sheriff’s office today.
