Paralegal Student Wins $3,000.00 Scholarship

Nevada paralegal student Kendal Stephens was awarded The Women’s Opportunity Award of $3,000.00 by Soroptimist International of Washoe County.

The Women's Opportunity Award provides support for women who are the primary wage earners for their families and also are pursuing higher education or additional skills and training. The award can be used for tuition, books, childcare, carfare or any other education-related expense.

Ms. Stephens, a single mother of four, will use the award to continue her paralegal studies at Truckee Meadows Community College.
