Erin Brockovich’s Daughter Publicizes Addiction Struggles

Elizabeth Brockovich, the teenage daughter of perhaps the world’s most well-known legal assistant Erin Brockovich, says she began struggling with drug addiction during her mother’s rise to fame.

Erin Brockovich’s outstanding research and initiative as a legal assistant employed by California-based attorney Edward L. Masry, ultimately led to the payout of millions of dollars in compensation for victims poisoned by the negligence of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). In 2000, she was portrayed by Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts in the movie Erin Brockovich, and has since become an environmental consultant.

Erin Brockovich recently sought treatment for her daughter’s cocaine addiction at a California inpatient rehabilitation center and fully supports her recovery, saying, “I will fight for her to the end - again. And we'll do it together and be stronger than ever. I love her and I'm her parent and I will be there for her.”
