I was Twittered!

I am still contemplating the pros and cons of Twitter. I do enjoy some of my friends' Facebook tweets (especially Smitty's dinner plans). Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I was the subject of a public "tweet". (This discovery also throws a big monkey wrench into my future article about controlling your own Internet presence...)

"Puglover27" posted a Twitter update on January 22, 2009, "Had an excellent paralegal, Lynne DeVenny speak to students about networking." It is true that I was the speaker for a networking webcast for Westwood College Online students that afternoon. This was my first webcast and it was being recorded. I could not see my listeners, and they could not comment until the end. I started to feel like I was giving a rather lengthy soliloquy in my car. I had no idea whether I was scintillating or snooze-inducing.

So I was pleased to get a positive "tweet". Thanks, "Puglover27"!
